REFRESH is a place designed just for you - a ministry woman - to find refreshment for your spirit, mind and body and to connect with other ministry women. This will be a place to find resources and build relationships that will encourage you in your unique ministry role. We are affiliated with the Southern Missouri Network of the Assemblies of God and the National Women's Department of the Assemblies of God.

Hard times have a way of draining us when we try to carry everything on our own. But we were never meant to live that way.

God didn’t call us to rely only on our own strength — He called us to live from His presence, His peace, and His joy. Even in difficult seasons, the joy of the Lord becomes our strength. Not because life is easy, but because He is faithful.

Joy isn’t pretending everything is perfect. Joy is knowing God is still good, still near, and still working in the middle of it all.

Stop striving. Stop carrying what was never yours to hold alone. Lean into Him today. His joy will sustain you.

We shrink back from the opportunity.
We settle for safe, comfortable, and familiar while God is inviting us into deeper faith and greater purpose.

Mother’s Day can hold so many emotions.
For some, it’s joy and celebration.
For others, it’s grief, longing, or memories that ache a little deeper this year.

But today, we also want to honor the women who mother hearts.
The women who pray for people they didn’t give birth to.
The women who encourage, disciple, listen, lead, and love others like family.

To the pastors’ wives, ministry leaders, mentors, and spiritual moms… thank you.
Thank you for showing up when you’re tired.
Thank you for carrying burdens in prayer.
Thank you for loving people well, often behind the scenes.
Your impact reaches far beyond what you see.
You are helping build faith, restore hope, and point people to Jesus every single day.

Whether today feels full or fragile for you, we pray you know this:
You are seen.
You are valued.
And the love you pour into others matters deeply.

Comparison is loud.
It tells you you’re behind, not enough, unseen, or failing.

But comparison has never spoken truth.

The enemy would love for ministry women to stay distracted, exhausted, insecure, and striving to prove themselves… because a woman who knows who she is in Christ is powerful.

You were never called to compete with another woman’s calling, gifting, platform, family, or season.
God didn’t accidentally make you different. He made you intentional.

The voice of comparison says, “You’ll never measure up.”
The voice of God says, “You are chosen, loved, equipped, and called.”

So silence the noise.
Stop measuring your behind-the-scenes against someone else’s highlight reel.
Stop striving for validation Jesus already settled at the cross.

You don’t have to compete when you’re already chosen.

May our lives point back to Jesus in both what we say, and how we live.
