REFRESH is a place designed just for you - a ministry woman - to find refreshment for your spirit, mind and body and to connect with other ministry women. This will be a place to find resources and build relationships that will encourage you in your unique ministry role. Sometimes the biggest battles we face aren't the things happening around us, but the things going on inside our own minds.
The worries, the doubts, the overthinking, the conversations we keep replaying, and the things we allow ourselves to carry that God never intended for us to hold on to.
It's easy to let our thoughts get the best of us. But we don't have to let them take over.We can invite the Holy Spirit into those places, too. We can ask Him to quiet the noise, give us clarity, and remind us of what's true.

Refresh Moment: Take a minute today and pay attention to what's been filling your mind. Is it bringing you peace or stealing it? Invite the Holy Spirit into those thoughts and allow Him to replace the worry with His peace.

Sometimes the most powerful thing a leader can do is notice.

Notice the person who always shows up early, the volunteer who serves without recognition, the woman who seems a little quieter than usual, or the person who's growing, even if their progress seems small.

Jesus noticed the overlooked, stopped for the hurting, and made people feel seen, even in the middle of a crowd. And we have the opportunity to do the same.

Refresh Moment: Identify one person who could use some encouragement. Send a text, make a call, or simply tell them what you appreciate about them.

Don't miss the good while you're busy doing the work.
There's always something next in ministry. Another Sunday, another event, another need to meet.

And sometimes we're so focused on what's ahead that we miss what God is doing right in front of us.
The prayer that was answered.
The volunteer who stepped up.
The life that's being changed.

Those moments matter! Don't get so busy preparing for what's next that you forget to celebrate what God is doing NOW.

Maybe it's your favorite coffee, a good laugh with a friend, finding a great deal, or an unexpected afternoon with absolutely nothing on the calendar!

Don't get so busy with everything that needs to be done that you miss the little joys God places in your day. Find something to smile about today… and maybe be the reason someone else smiles, too!

Sometimes we confuse being strong with being able to handle everything. Before we know it, we're carrying things God never asked us to carry.
Maybe today isn't about doing more. Maybe it's about laying something down.

REFRESH MOMENT:
Identify one worry, expectation, or burden you need to release to God today. Pray over it, surrender it, and resist the urge to pick it back up.

Your response sets the temperature.

Leadership isn’t just about responding to what’s happening around you. Often, you’re helping create the atmosphere others are experiencing.

Calm is contagious. Faith is contagious. Kindness is contagious. Steadiness is contagious. But so are panic, frustration, negativity, and criticism.

As leaders, we don’t get to choose everything that walks into the room…but we do get to choose what we bring into it. That doesn’t mean ignoring problems or pretending everything is fine. It means learning to pause before we react. To bring wisdom into tension. Peace into uncertainty. Encouragement into discouragement. Faith into moments that feel overwhelming.

Sometimes leadership looks less like having the right answer and more like being a steady presence.

Refresh Moment: Before you walk into your next room, meeting, conversation, or ministry moment, ask yourself: What am I bringing into this atmosphere?

Pastor. Pastor’s wife. Leader. Wife. Mom. Missionary. Volunteer. Caregiver. The one who organizes it. The one who remembers. The one everyone calls when something needs to be done.

And those roles matter. But they aren’t your identity.

Before you accomplished anything for God, you belonged to God.
Before the title, before the responsibility, before anyone needed something from you, you were His daughter.

Sometimes we need the reminder that God doesn’t only value what we do for Him. He delights in who we are with Him.

So today, take off the titles for a minute.

You are loved.
You are known.
You are His.
And that is enough.

Refresh Moment: Spend a few quiet minutes with God today without asking what needs to be done next. Simply let yourself be His daughter.
