In the days following the devastating earthquake in the southern Philippines, many families on Balut Island remain isolated, without reliable power, communication, or easy access to essential supplies. While uncertainty continues, the Church is responding—determined to bring hope, encouragement, and practical help to those in need.
UPDATE FROM THE FIELD:
A team is preparing to transport food and other critical supplies to the island. Reaching Balut Island, however, has become a challenge of its own. The island's port sustained significant damage during the earthquake, alternative routes are currently impassable, and access remains limited. Teams are praying for a way forward as they travel toward General Santos City and seek the safest and quickest route to deliver aid.
As our brothers and sisters step out to serve, would you join us in prayer?
🙏 Pray for God's protection over the global workers and local believers involved in this response effort.
🙏 Pray that the Lord would open a safe path for supplies to reach Balut Island quickly and efficiently.
🙏 Pray for the people of the island—that they would experience God's peace, provision, and hope in the midst of uncertainty.
Even in difficult moments, we are reminded that God is present, and His Church continues to be a light in the darkness.
