Asia Pacific Missions

Asia Pacific Missions We are a mission entity under the Assemblies of God World Missions (AGWM) that works in Asia and the Pacific Islands. And the best is yet to come!

Follow us on Instagram at and visit asiapacificmissions.org. From 1914 to the present, the work of the AGWM and the indigenous churches we planted has mushroomed from a handful to a multitude. Hundreds of people have served as missionaries over the years, many giving more than 20 years of service. In the Asia Pacific Region today, over 360 missionary workers labor in 38 countr

ies and territories, serving over 28,000 churches and outstations with a total worshiping population of nearly 5.5 million people.

Right now, dozens of Asia Pacific global workers are sitting with textbooks, flashcards, and foreign sounds that don't yet feel natural. Language learning is one of the toughest and most important things they must accomplish — because you can't reach someone you can't speak to. Pray today that God anoints our new workers with supernatural breakthrough in language learning. That every word learned becomes a bridge to the Never Reached.

Pacific Oceania encompasses a third of the earth's surface — 30,000 islands, 42 million people, 1,000 languages. In most of these languages, the gospel has never been heard.
God knows every island. He knows every name. He is still calling people to go.

In the days following the devastating earthquake in the southern Philippines, many families on Balut Island remain isolated, without reliable power, communication, or easy access to essential supplies. While uncertainty continues, the Church is responding—determined to bring hope, encouragement, and practical help to those in need.

UPDATE FROM THE FIELD:
A team is preparing to transport food and other critical supplies to the island. Reaching Balut Island, however, has become a challenge of its own. The island's port sustained significant damage during the earthquake, alternative routes are currently impassable, and access remains limited. Teams are praying for a way forward as they travel toward General Santos City and seek the safest and quickest route to deliver aid.

As our brothers and sisters step out to serve, would you join us in prayer?
🙏 Pray for God's protection over the global workers and local believers involved in this response effort.
🙏 Pray that the Lord would open a safe path for supplies to reach Balut Island quickly and efficiently.
🙏 Pray for the people of the island—that they would experience God's peace, provision, and hope in the midst of uncertainty.

Even in difficult moments, we are reminded that God is present, and His Church continues to be a light in the darkness.

Papua New Guinea needs 23 more global workers. 23 people willing to leave the familiar, cross the ocean, and bring the Gospel to those who have never heard it. Would you pray with us today that God stirs hearts and raises up workers for Papua New Guinea? The harvest is plentiful — but the laborers are few.

🌏 What is PenAsia?
Peninsular Asia—made up of Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, and Vietnam—is a region of incredible beauty, deep culture, and the highest concentration of Buddhists in the world.
With only 1.9% identifying as followers of Jesus, many communities still have little to no gospel access. Across PenAsia, Asia Pacific Missions is partnering with local churches and using creative pathways—like compassion ministries and business as missions—to bring the hope of Christ where traditional access is limited.
This is the heart of PenAsia: to see every people group reached with the love of Jesus.

Pray with us that new believers would be deeply rooted in discipleship, filled with the Holy Spirit, and empowered with an apostolic passion to share the hope of Jesus with those closest to them.
In places where gospel access is limited, the Church grows through transformed lives reaching their own families and neighbors.
✨ Pray for boldness to speak
✨ Pray for maturity to lead
✨ Pray for multiplication that spreads from home to home

A historic moment occurred when a new church was planted among the Cham people. Led by local believers in PenAsia, this is the first known church in a Cham village—built through years of relationship, prayer, and faithful witness.
In a place long marked by spiritual darkness, God is moving. One woman, once suffering from stage-three cancer, encountered Jesus, was healed, and is now sharing the gospel with others.
🙏 Praise God for breakthrough—and pray this is just the beginning of many more coming to know Him among the Cham.
