🌿 Midweek Ways to Pray — August 🌿
“For from Him and through Him and for Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever! Amen.”
— Romans 11:36 (NIV)
As a new school year approaches, let’s take time this week to pray for the teachers, students, and parents in our community. A new school year brings excitement, preparation, and sometimes uncertainty. Through it all, we can remember that "everything is from Him, through Him, and for Him."
Here are three ways we can pray this week:
🙏 1. Pray for Teachers Preparing to Serve
Pray for teachers and school staff as they prepare their classrooms, lessons, and hearts for a new year. Ask God to give them wisdom, patience, creativity, and strength. Pray that He would use them to make a positive difference in the lives of their students and that their work would ultimately bring Him glory.
🙏 2. Pray for Students Preparing to Learn
Pray for students as they prepare to return to school. Ask God to give them confidence, a desire to learn, good friendships, and the ability to navigate the challenges that come with a new school year. Pray especially that Christian students would be a light for Christ among their classmates.
🙏 3. Pray for Parents Trusting Jesus
Pray for parents as they entrust their children to teachers, schools, and new experiences this year. Ask God to calm their fears and remind them that their children are ultimately in His hands. Pray that parents would trust Jesus, seek His wisdom, and faithfully point their children toward Christ throughout the school year.
