Coming Wednesday evenings to Gibson Memorial United Methodist Church…

Adam Hamilton’s, Christianity and World Religions

Have you ever asked…
Why are there so many different religions?
How should Christians view other faiths?
How is God at work in other religions?
What is the fate of those who earnestly pursue God through other religions?

If you’re interested in better understanding the similarities and differences between Christianity and the faiths of some of our neighbors (Jewish, Muslim, Hinduism, or Buddhism), join us on Wednesday night’s at 6:30pm beginning September 30th at Gibson Memorial United Methodist Church in Spring Hope.

For six weeks Rev. Terry M. Williams and laity member Annie Voss will facilitate a discussion on the major religions in the world today as we discover each religion’s essential beliefs and the historical setting of their faiths.

This study looks for common ground while noting differences, praying we will all come away with a better understanding and appreciation of other faiths and be led to better fulfill Jesus' command to "love our neighbor as we love ourselves."
