Happy Mother’s Day!

Today we celebrate and honor all the incredible mothers whose love reflects the heart of Christ. Your strength, patience, and sacrificial care are daily reminders of God’s grace at work in this world.
Proverbs 31:25 says, “She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come.”

To every mother, grandmother, and mother figure, thank you for the joy you bring, the prayers you pray, and the unwavering love you give.

Surry County will host a Celebration of Prayer in observance of the National Day of Prayer on Thursday, May 7 at 12:00 noon.

It will start at the Surry County Pavilion, located beside the Government Center, at 12:00 noon. From there, we will walk together to the Surry County Circuit Court.
