Lord, We Thank You!!!🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙏🏽❤️❤️

Tonight, I’ve been trying to find the right words since leaving church today and conversing with my sister Katrina. I’m sitting here reflecting on everything that happened today at our Homecoming Service, and my heart is just full.

It keeps taking me back to , Our Revival /Homecoming Theme “”The Power of Love.” , but today… I / We experienced the theme.

During our offering, as I was leading worship, my sister and I made contact , and she let me know that my Aunt Lula had taken sick. In that moment, everything changed for me.

As the Worship Leader, I knew what I needed to do. I began to pray. I asked the congregation to pray with me.

And church… I felt the atmosphere shift.

I watched as people became concerned, but they didn’t allow fear to take over. They continued to give, but they were also praying. Some were helping and attending to my Aunt. Others were worshipping. Others were praising God.And somehow, right there in that moment, we became one.

Nobody had to tell us what to do.
Nobody had to organize it.
Love just took over.

That’s when I realized that this is what the Power of Love looks like.It looks like somebody stopping what they’re doing to pray for somebody else.

It looks like strangers becoming family. It looks like worship continuing while someone is being cared for.It looks like people who could have been afraid choosing instead to believe God.

And We , Sis Lula Warren, her children, family, Pastor Pollard and I (Rev. Brown) want to personally say THANK YOU to everyone who was there today. ❤️

Thank you for praying for my Aunt. Thank you for your compassion. Thank you for your calmness. Thank you for continuing to worship with us. Thank you for loving my family in that moment.

And to those who were watching us on Facebook Live, We want to thank you too. We didn’t even realize that the live was still recording during that moment. So if you saw what was happening, and you stopped what you were doing and prayed with us from wherever you were…

THANK YOU. 🙏🏽❤️

Wemay never know every person who whispered a prayer today, but God knows. And that’s what makes this so special to me/ Us. Because today wasn’t just another service.

Today wasn’t just Homecoming. Today wasn’t just an offering. Today was a reminder that LOVE is still alive in the body of Christ.

I saw it in the people who prayed.
I saw it in the people who helped.
I heard it in the prayers.
I felt it in the worship.
And I felt God’s presence right in the middle of it all.

Our theme was “The Power of Love,” but today God allowed us to see that power in action.

We are grateful.. We’re humbled. And again,
We are thankful for my church family.
And I am thankful for every person who stood with us today.

Most of all, We’re thankful to God for reminding Us , that when love and prayer come together, something powerful happens.

❤️ Love was our theme… but today, Love became our testimony.

To God be the glory. 🙏🏽🙌🏾❤️🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
