The Property Committee at the Cathedral of St. John invites you to attend the unveiling of a new art project at the Cathedral!

Students volunteered from Lewis & Clark and Shadle High Schools and have created their own take on scenes in and around Spokane, and have painted them on panels that will cover up windows on an older garage on the property of the Cathedral.

With the help of Spokane Public Schools' Art Coordinator, Carol Pederson, there will be an unveiling of the 8 panels that cover the windows. The art teachers at Lewis and Clark and Shadle Park with their art students will be present at the unveiling on June 4, 3PM.

Come join us and celebrate the work of these art students! The Cathedral is located at 127 E 12th. The garage is around the block on the east side.

As Memorial Day nears dusk, we remember those serving our country who died while serving.

And we pray:
O Judge of the nations, we remember before you with grateful hearts the men and women of our country who in the day of decision ventured much and gave their all for the liberties we now enjoy. Grant that we may not rest until all the people of this land share the benefits of true freedom and gladly accept its disciplines. This we ask in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
