PASTOR ANNOUNCED FOR BSLC
On April 29, many of us watched the “Call Day” as it was live-streamed in the Fellowship Hall. We listened with anticipation and prayer for the name of the Seminarian who would be called to BSLC as our Pastor.

God is good! Seminarian Justin Chester has been called to serve as Pastor for BSLC. He is from Arlington, Washington, and has a wife, Kaitlyn, and two boys. We do not yet have an arrival date, but we will notify the Congregation once we have more information. Keep Pastor Chester and his family in your prayers during this time of transition. Let us warmly welcome Pastor Chester and his family when they arrive.

Lent Service Schedule

Lent begins this year on Wednesday, March 5, with our Ash Wednesday worship service at 6:30 P.M.

On each of the five following Wednesdays after Ash Wednesday (March 12, 19, and 26, and, April 2 and 9), our church will offer a special Wednesday Evening Lenten Services at 6:30 P.M. Come and take advantage of these faith-inspiring evening services leading up to services on Maundy Thursday, April 17, and Good Friday, April 18.

Palm Sunday is April 13, with our normal starting time at 9:00 A.M. Then, VICTORY EASTER SUNDAY on April 20. There will be two worship services: one at 9:00 A.M. and then at 10:30 A.M. An Easter breakfast, served by our youth, is offered from 9:30 A.M. through 10:45 A.M.
