🚨BOIL WATER ADVISORY ISSUED🚨
Please be advised, the City of Troy has issued a Boil Water Advisory for residents and businesses at the following addresses:
• 4 Taylor Lane
• 5 Taylor Lane
• 9 Taylor Lane
• 11 Taylor Lane
• 201 Pinewoods Avenue
• 209 Pinewoods Avenue
• 212 Pinewoods Avenue
• 215 Pinewoods Avenue
• Fairfield Road
The advisory has been issued due to necessary water valve repairs currently being conducted by the City's Quality-of-Life Action Crews.
As a precaution to protect public health, the Boil Water Advisory must remain in effect for at least 48 hours while water sampling is conducted. Crews are actively working to complete the necessary repairs and restore service as quickly and safely as possible.
Residents and businesses in the affected areas will be notified when the advisory has been lifted and it is safe to resume normal water use.
What You Should Do⬇
Residents and businesses in the affected areas should:
• Bring all water to a rolling boil for at least one minute before using it for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, or washing dishes.
• Use bottled water as an alternative where possible.
• Continue following the Boil Water Advisory until the City officially announces that it has been lifted.
This advisory is being issued out of an abundance of caution to protect public health. The City thanks affected residents and businesses for their patience and understanding as crews complete this necessary work.
