Every church has a specific purpose and call from God. It is true that all churches are called to fulfill the Great Commission but each church will

carry out that assignment in different ways according to God's plan for that congregation. Some churches are called to be teaching centers and establish schools and colleges. Other churches are called to be a church that sends our missionaries around the world. Other churches may be called to minister to inner city residents or hold evangelistic crusades. One call is not better or higher than another. Every church has a responsibility to seek God for His vision for the church and then to implement that vision as faithfully as they can. So the question we want to pose is: What is the Father's vision for West Hoosick? Understanding the Father's vision for West Hoosick only comes as we spend time before Him and ask Him to reveal His will and direction for us. As we have waited on God, an exciting vision for this church has unfolded: we are to be a lighthouse to the community! " This church is to become known as a Bible preaching church, providing a lighthouse in the community, a safe a loving environment within the West Hoosick area to learn, share, and build a relationship with God."
