You've done it before — life gets heavy, so you text someone and ask for a word.

That instinct isn't wrong. But it has a ceiling. The verse someone sends you holds for an afternoon. Then it's the middle of the night, the doubt is back, and the person who sent it is asleep.

This is what Sunday's message kept pressing on: the fight in your head is fought with words — and the only words that hold up are the ones you already know. You can't swing a sword you've never picked up. Borrowed faith runs out right when you need it most.

Swipe through. Then ask yourself one honest question: when the battle starts, are you reaching for someone else's word, or do you have your own?
