Team Orange appears to have had the most fun at their different sites, what do you all think?? 🍊🧡
On Day 1, in the morning, Team Orange visited The Well in Curtis Bay. They sorted (and styled!) clothes, and the storage basement at The Hope Chest ministry store. In the afternoon they shopped for ingredients and prepared 14 dinners for the HVC Meal Train!
On Day 2, they made the trip to the Brooklyn neighborhood to help The Transformation Center vacate their leased warehouse and sort boxes of food at their main location in preparation for the weekly Saturday food market.
On Day 3, in the morning, they were back at The Well, finishing off organizing clothes and the basement storage, plus packing individual back to school supply packets for the local students. In the afternoon, back at HVC, they sorted and organized the Party Town storage closet.
On Day 4, they headed back to The Transformation Center and helped organize the new storage area, unloading the food truck, moving boxes, and stacking reassembled shelves with diapers and food items. They then finishing setting up for Saturday’s community food distribution.
On Day 5, in the morning, Orange teamed up with and cared for children from Foster The Family at HVC. After lunch they put together food and toiletry bags for Baltimore County school children through the Baltimore Hunger Project!
