Yesterday, Pastor Davis delivered a strong message from 2 Timothy 3:1-5, “Sin Running Rampant.” It was a timely reminder of the times we’re currently living in, and a call for God’s people to stand firm, stay rooted in truth, and reflect Christ’s love.
The message was especially meaningful given that our youth are starting a new academic year today. We had the joy of presenting gifts to them, and Pastor Davis covered them with a powerful prayer, asking God to guard their hearts and minds, sharpen their focus, and use them as a light in their schools this year.
As they step into the 2026-2027 school year, we’re lifting up:
🙏🏽Every student for wisdom, courage, strong friendships, and hearts that stay focused on God.
🙏🏽Every teacher and faculty member for patience, creativity, and renewed strength each day.
🙏🏽Every administrator and staff member for patience, wisdom in leadership and peace under pressure.
🙏🏽Every bus driver and support staff for patience, safety on the roads and protection over every student in their care.
🙏🏽Every parent and guardian for patience, peace of mind, and grace.
Lord, we ask for your hand of protection over every campus, every hallway, and every classroom. Let this be a year marked by growth, safety, and joy, where your presence goes before them and stays with them for all the days ahead.
