What does “Faithful Living in Coastal Carolina” mean?
It means recognizing that faith isn’t something we practice only inside a church building. Faith shapes how we live in the places God has planted us—including this beautiful, fragile corner of creation we call Coastal Carolina.
Faithful living means paying attention.
It means noticing the water that sustains our communities, the plants and pollinators that share our yards, the storms that increasingly shape our lives, and the energy we use every day. It means asking not simply, “What is convenient for me?” but “What does love of God and love of neighbor look like here?”
Creation care isn’t about being perfect. None of us is. It’s about becoming more intentional—learning how small, practical choices can care for our neighbors, protect the places we love, reduce household costs, and preserve God’s good creation for generations still to come.

We’ll talk about gardening with nature, hurricane preparedness, protecting our water, and using energy wisely—all grounded in the belief that how we live in creation is part of how we love the Creator.
