Word of Grace Church We are building a Word of Faith Church in Brunswick County, NC. Our purpose is to teach all people to be victorious through Jesus Christ.

Behold the proud, His soul is not upright in him; But the just shall live by his faith. – Habbakkuk 2:4

This scripture with variations is in the Bible four times. If God says something twice it’s important. If He says it four times, be assured, it’s very important.

I find several kinds of faith in the Bible: dead faith (it doesn’t work or accomplish anything); saving faith (this kind of faith will get you to heaven); and faith to live by. "Faith to live by" is that which will produce a supernatural lifestyle for you in the here and now.

Give none offence, neither to the Jews, nor to the Gentiles, nor to the church of God:– 1 Cor 10:32 (KJV).

God sees three groups of people in the world. He sees the Jews who are a people He has chosen to be a sign to the world; He sees the church which is made up of those who have received Jesus Christ as their personal Savior (Christians); and He sees the Gentiles who are those who are neither Jews nor Christians. Another term for Gentiles is “sinner.” You are born a sinner; you’re not a sinner because you’ve sinned. Although Jews are not Gentiles, they also are born sinners. Just as dogs bark and cows moo because it’s their nature, sinners sin because it’s their nature.

The cure for sinning is to receive Jesus as Savior. Christians also sin, but it’s not their nature. For Christians it’s an occasional thing to sin (hopefully). And then forgiveness is available simply for the asking (by confessing your sin to God).

This forgiveness is not available to Jews or Gentiles (sinners) unless they receive Jesus as Savior and Lord.

Does preaching about sin put a downer on you?☹️

I totally dislike going to church to learn about how sinful I am. Yet that is what many churches preach.

Personally, I want to be taught how to live a victorious life. I want to know how to be free from guilt and condemnation.

FATHERING CRISIS!

The United States is suffering from a fathering crisis. The number of fatherless families is increasing. A major cause of incarceration is the lack of a father in the home.

Sunday, June 17, the sermon will be on God’s fathering skills. I will be teaching God’s principles for raising wholesome and godly children.

I love that hymn, it extols the life that God desires for His people.

DO YOU KNOW FOR SURE?

“The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God,” (Romans 8:16).

Once again, I want to talk about assurance, knowing that heaven will be your eternal home. This verse says the Spirit of God assures us that we are God’s child. Yet, as I said previously, most church-goers would say only, “Well I sure hope that I will go to heaven.”

If you are among that group, come to Word of Grace Church and we will help you to know, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that you are God’s child and have an eternal home in His presence.

How is your spiritual assurance? Are you positive that when you die, heaven will be your home?

The Bible says: “My purpose in writing is simply this: that you . . . will know beyond the shadow of a doubt that you have eternal life, the reality and not the illusion.” (1 John 5:13 – Message)

Christianity is a “know so faith” not a “hope so religion.” However, most of the church-goers I speak with are not certain that heaven is their eternal destination; they hope that it is.

If you are among the “hope so’s,” here at Word of Grace Church we can help you gain the “know so” assurance that heaven will be your eternal home. Father God wants you to have peace concerning eternity.

Whether you have spent your "life" in church,

Jesus said, He "came that [we] may have life and that [we] may have it more abundantly" (John 10:10 nkjv).

Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. – 3John 2 (KJV).

Beloved, it took me three years to realize this is the Holy Spirit communicating the heart of Father God to His believing children. God desires that you prosper financially and live in divine health (free from sickness and disease). However, these goals are dependent upon your soul (mind) prospering, that is, thinking God thoughts or thinking the way God thinks.

Unfortunately, many churches do not teach people to think God thoughts. For example, many proclaim that God is teaching you a lesson by making you sick. Yes, there is a lesson to be learned by being sick – the lesson; being well is better (much better).

At Word of Grace Church, we teach God’s children to renew their minds to think God thoughts. Renewing the mind to agree with God creates a victorious entrance into the abundant life.

Come, hear, and begin entering into the abundant life by renewing your mind.

Jesus said,”The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.”– John 10:10 (NKJV) What Jesus meant was He came to give the God kind of life (that is eternal life) and that life would manifest into an over abundant life in this current lifetime.

Many church-goers have received eternal life, yet they live in lack, sickness, loneliness, and despair. They are not experiencing the abundant life for which Jesus bled and died.

At Word of Grace Church, we teach and preach God’s principles of kingdom living that will bring a believer into the abundant life. Come and have your life impacted positively by the sound teaching of the Word of God.
