We are looking forward to gathering together for worship this Sunday and have several exciting things happening!
🎄Operation Christmas Child – June Collection Kickoff! 🎄
This Sunday officially begins our June collection for Operation Christmas Child! Throughout the month, we’ll be collecting the items shown below to help share God’s love with children around the world. Be sure to stop by the collection table in the foyer and help us get this month’s project off to a great start!
🤎 The Highland Cows Are Arriving! 🤎
The wait is over! Our adorable Highland Cows will be making their way to SP Naz this Sunday and are excited to meet their adoptive families. Every adoption helps support this summer’s Emerald Crossing VBS, and we are so grateful for the incredible support our church family has shown. We can’t wait to embark on our Irish adventure through Psalm 23 together!
🇮🇪 VBS Season Is Here! 🇮🇪
Emerald Crossing VBS is quickly approaching, and this Sunday marks the start of volunteer sign-ups and VBS t-shirt order collection! If you’re interested in serving during VBS or would like to order a t-shirt, be sure to stop by the VBS table and get signed up. There are so many ways to help make this week a life-changing experience for our children, and we’d love for you to be part of it. Be on the lookout for more details this Sunday!
💙 A Special Time of Appreciation 💙
This Sunday will also be a bittersweet one as we say farewell to our beloved interim pastor, Pastor Wayne, and his wife, Debbie. Over the past seven months, they have faithfully loved, encouraged, and guided our church through an important season of transition. We are incredibly grateful for their ministry and the lasting impact they have made on our church family.
Following our morning worship service, please join us for a special appreciation dinner as we celebrate Pastor Wayne and Debbie and thank them for the many ways they have blessed SP Naz.
🖤 Looking Ahead – Welcome Pastor Derek! 🖤
The excitement continues as we prepare to welcome Pastor Derek Catron and his family to South Point Nazarene! Pastor Derek’s first Sunday with us will be June 14th, and we are eagerly anticipating all that God has in store for our church family through his leadership.
Be sure to join us that evening at 6:00 p.m. for Pastor Derek’s Installation Service as we officially welcome him to SP Naz. Following the service, we’ll enjoy a time of fellowship and celebration with finger foods. We hope you’ll make plans to attend this special occasion as we begin an exciting new chapter in the life of our church!
