Courtney didn’t come to baptism because life suddenly became easy — she came because God met her in the middle of the struggle.
For a long time, Courtney tried to navigate the chaos of life on her own, especially while facing difficult health challenges. She was searching for peace and strength, not only for herself, but so she could be the wife and mother her family needed.
She carried the weight of uncertainty and exhaustion, doing her best to hold everything together. But even in the middle of those difficult seasons, God was drawing her closer.
And then something changed.
As Courtney began allowing God to lead her life, she discovered a peace she had been searching for all along. His presence softened her heart, strengthened her faith, and reminded her that she was never meant to carry her burdens alone.
Over Mother's Day weekend, the Holy Spirit spoke directly to her heart. When she heard the question, “What if God walked through the crowd to get to you?” she knew it was time to stop waiting and respond to His call.
Today, Courtney is choosing to give her life fully to Jesus. She is choosing to listen to the voice of the Holy Spirit, trust God's leading, and walk forward in the love and grace He offers.
This baptism is Courtney’s way of saying yes to God. Yes to faith. Yes to surrender. Yes to a life led by Jesus.
Today we celebrate Courtney — and the beautiful work God is continuing to do in her life.
