TOMORROW’S NOT A NORMAL SUNDAY

You know the feeling.

Everybody else seems to be moving forward.

Their career is taking off. Their marriage looks better. Their kids are succeeding. They got the opportunity. They bought the house. They took the trip.

And somehow…their progress starts making you question yours.

Am I behind?
Am I doing something wrong?
Why is it taking me so long?
Why does their life seem easier than mine?

We used to compare ourselves to the people around us.

Now we carry everybody’s life around in our pocket.

And the more we look sideways, the easier it is to feel like we’re losing a race we were never actually asked to run.

But what if the pressure you feel to keep up isn’t coming from what God expects of you?

What if some of the stress you’re carrying is coming from something that was never yours to carry?

If you’ve ever felt behind, inadequate, or exhausted from looking at where everybody else is, you need to be here Sunday. We’re continuing Panic Button with I Can’t Keep Up With Everyone Else—and Jesus asks a question that might completely change where you’re looking. Oh yeah, and free Smalls Sliders at 10:30 am.

Football season is officially back, 🏈 and we couldn't be more excited! To every coach, teacher, band member, cheer squad, concession stand volunteer, ref, parent, and student who helps make Friday nights happen — thank you. You pour into these communities in ways that go way beyond the scoreboard.

These are exactly the kind of nights Love Week is all about — showing love for our teams, our schools, and our communities, right where we live.

The SHOES FOR SCHOOL PROJECT is one of many ways to get involved with LOVE WEEK, and we’re inviting you to help make a difference. We have 50 local kids who need a sponsor. 👟

Through the Shoes for School Project, you can sponsor a child and help provide them with a new pair of shoes—shoes that fit, shoes they feel good in, and shoes they can proudly walk into the new school year wearing.
