CLC family and friends! The deadline to RSVP for our 130th Anniversary is September 6th. Don't miss your chance to poke through old membership directories, enjoy historical documents and of course lots of pictures! Our very special worship service begins at 10 am, and includes reflections from long time members and live music from Carol Thompson and Phil Zuniga of "Ride This Train." We will catch up with old friends then enjoy pulled pork lunch together at 11:45 am. We will also have a 50/50 raffle! Our Shoe Away Hunger Collection ends September 13th! There's still time to clean out those closets! Big thanks for all of the donations so far.

Plans are underway for our 130th anniversary celebration. Now we need volunteers to ensure we have a celebration worthy of our history. Please sign up in the narthex, contact the office, or reply to this post. Volunteer opportunities include: Saturday, September 12, 2026 - 9 am-4 pm to prep and cook food, set tables, prepare historical displays, etc. Sunday, September 13, 2026 - after luncheon to clean up after meal, dishes, reset dining hall, etc. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Christ Lutheran Church is Celebrating 130 Years!!

For over a century, Christ Lutheran Church has been a cornerstone of our community, a place where generations have gathered to worship, grow, and serve. We wish to use this day to reflect on our rich history and the many hands that have helped build the foundation we stand upon today. The day’s events will include:
* Special worship service at 10 am
* Displays of historical pictures, bulletins, and documents that capture the life of our congregation since its founding in 1896
* Opportunity to reconnect with old friends, share stories, and celebrate the enduring spirit of Christ Lutheran Church
* Luncheon at 11:45 am

We are proud to say we are finishing summer strong with campers here at Luther Point Bible Camp!

Coming soon is our annual fundraiser and Summer Celebration (Sunday, Aug. 9th).

We'd love your support in the form of basket donations for the silent auction. Please drop them off here at camp during the first week of August so we have time to organize and get everything ready for the big day. We hope to see you all at camp!

CLC has a community garden and box #1 is all flowers!

Bring a jar of water and help yourself to the clippers in the box attached to this raised garden bed to make your own floral arrangements!

***Please note this is ONLY for box #1. Let’s be good neighbors and let our community members enjoy the fruits of labor in the other garden boxes.***

Our Shoe Away Hunger collection is underway! Cleaning out your closets? Do you have shoes that you no longer need? Drop them off at Christ Lutheran Church to support the Shoe Away Hunger program!

Shoes should be in good or great condition, like you might find at a thrift store. It is SUPER helpful if pairs are tied together.

Collection will take place June - September 7th.

A cart is located outside the front door of the church for convenient drop-off anytime! 510 Germain St., Somerset
