Read the photo caption for the most needed items right now at Valley Outreach. Drop them off in the church entry and we'll get them to the food shelf.

This month, we're highlighting items that we regularly distribute in partnership with Washington County Community Services' Homeless Outreach Services Team (HOST), which provides support and essential resources to community members experiencing homelessness.

Our most-needed items include:

• Shelf-stable turkey sticks, beef sticks, and cheese sticks
• Fruit cups
• Whole grain crackers
• Nutrition bars

These convenient, nutritious foods help provide quick meals and snacks for individuals who may not have access to refrigeration or cooking facilities.

If you're heading to the store, consider picking up a few extra items to donate. Every contribution helps us meet immediate needs in the community, and we are so grateful for your support! 💛

Yesterday in worship we celebrated the Faith Step of High School Graduation with four young people in our community. The future is bright! Congratulations! Keep making the world a better place.

At the St. Paul area Synod Assembly this year, Pastor Ron Hackman was listed as celebrating his 60th Anniversary of Ordination. Ron lives with his wife Miriam in her family's homestead in Marine.

We join in celebrating Pastor Ron, and we give thanks to God for their ministry and witness to God's love in the world.

"Pickle Ball with the Pastors (and others from CLC)" has returned for the summer. On most Wednesdays this summer, one or both of our pastors invite you to join them and others from Christ Lutheran for some pickle ball.

All ages, all abilities, welcome! We start at 8:30 a.m. at the pickle ball courts in Scandia and play for an hour or so, rotating games and rotating partners. There are people from CLC (not the pastors) who know the rules, who also are good teachers for those learning how to play.

Call the church office for more information or just show up some Wednesday this summer.

Billy Johnson is a singer/songwriter from Minneapolis. He is a vocalist and guitarist, playing acoustic roots and soul. Billy has recorded 12 albums of original material. He is the frontman for The Hillcats, BJ’s Roadshow, and B-TEAM. Billy has opened for The Bodeans, Bob Schneider, Five For Fighting, Train, Lowen and Navarro, and many others.
We can't wait! See you on June 10th in Marine!

Join us for Outdoor Sunday Worship this Sunday, May 31 at 9:30 a.m. We will gather across the big lawn as we gather for worship and community.

Bring your own lawn chair or blanket or use one of our chairs. Sit in the sun or sit in the shade. "Trinity Sundaes" will follow the worship service.
