St. Croix United Church

St. Croix United Church We envision an ever-expanding safe harbor where we work with God toward love and justice. We are United Church of Christ & Congregational.

A small church with big heart! We are an inclusive community, celebrating God’s unconditional love. Do you long for...
…a church that explores a progressive understanding of the Christian faith?
…a group of people who aim to know and extend care to one another?
… a community where LGBTQ+ persons are welcomed and affirmed?
…intersections of faith with environmental, economic and racial justice?

…a deeper spiritual journey, valuing both questions and affirmations of faith? We value experimenting and creating new traditions. Faith in a loving God supports our efforts to follow Jesus in loving our neighbors and ourselves. Trusting that each person’s faith journey is unique, we wonder together about God’s active presence in and through our lives. We invite you to join us for any upcoming event. You just may find what you’re looking for in our vibrant little congregation! Learn more about us at www.peoplescongregational.org

SUNDAY MORNING WORSHIP | Sept. 6th
Focus: what makes work good
Recorded service:

09/05/2026

"On this 132nd Labor Day celebration as the festivities take place, the cookouts display food from farms and gardens across the land, and another summer comes to an end, those who labor in the fields continue to fight for justice.

"They too need support and advocacy if a is to be achieved. The labor of love should not be a requirement of workers, instead, it should be the motivation to, as Micah 6:8 says, 'do justice, love mercy and walk humbly with God.'"

-Rev. Dr. Karen Georgia Thompson
UCC General Minister & President

A way to donated directly to relief work in Nepal

🇳🇵 Pray for Nepal
Devastating floods in Nepal have claimed hundreds of lives, left many missing, and displaced families across affected communities. Global Ministries is in communication with our partner in Nepal and preparing to respond to urgent needs as aid can safely reach those affected.

Our partner shared, “At this critical moment, we would greatly appreciate your prayers for Nepal.”

Please join us in praying for those who have lost loved ones, those still missing, displaced families, rescue workers, and our partners working to bring help and hope.
