Great morning connecting with members of our community.

Pictured here are Chaplain Greg and Chaplain Steve. They’re a part of MACSS (Marysville Crisis Support Services), the official Police and Firefighter Chaplaincy program for the Marysville area. Chaplain Greg is the Executive Director of MACSS and leads a fantastic team of Chaplains and Crisis Support Responders.

We are grateful for their ministry and the collective and community care they provide. 🌟

Great day at Jetty Island. ⛴️

The day got off to a rocky start with the wind and the rain, but it turned around and the sun came out. Bogdan and Pastor JP even put in a run for an impromptu Jetty Island 5K. 🏃🏽

Don’t forget to join us tomorrow for Breakfast Church and Imagineer fellowship events with us at the end of service.

Happy Sunday and greetings from Trinity Community Lutheran Church - Point Roberts in Point Roberts, WA.

We hope you had a wonderful Sunday hosting Melissa Marzolf, and receiving the Spoken Word from her. Thank you Melissa for sharing your time and talents with us!!

Pastor JP and family had a chance to visit White Rock in BC, and made their way over to the Northernmost congregation in the Northwest Washington Synod, and meet with Louise Cassidy, the church manager and council member.

Greetings from Point Roberts! Be sure to join us next Sunday for Breakfast Church and a congregational brainstorm where we will “Imagineer” fellowship ideas for the rest of the year! 🌟

This Sunday, we welcome Melissa Marzolf as our guest speaker at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.

Reflecting on Isaiah 51 and Matthew 16:13–20, Melissa will explore how our answer to Jesus’ question becomes more than words—it becomes testimony, taking shape in the lives we live.

Along the way, she’ll share the powerful story of Luther Seminary Old Testament scholar Rolf Jacobson and his witness to a God who meets us even in the midst of suffering.

It’s been a great week of ministry!

We’ve had the chance to connect with friends who have young families—to listen, learn, and discern how we can partner together, grow our fellowship, and create more opportunities to connect.

We’re grateful for our wonderful parishioners and partners in faith—and we’d love to have you join us for Breakfast Church Sunday, August 30!

At the conclusion of worship, we’ll take some time to “imagineer” together. We’ll open our calendars and hear from those gathered about the fellowship ideas, events, and opportunities you’d love to see take shape in the coming year.

It’s been a great week of fellowship. Pastor JP has been able to catch up and connect with so many members of the church. It’s been an enriching week with great conversations.

If you’d be interested in getting Tacos, Pastor JP is offering a free lunch to anyone who’d like to connect—meet up with be at a local spot in Everett called Taquería Doña Mari. Reach out if you’re ready for a fiesta and some friendship 🛳️

Otherwise, come join us Sunday where we’ll preach out of the Psalter to talk about the “derek” of God 📖
