Join us THIS SUNDAY, June 7th, as We celebrate the Second Sunday after Pentecost, 10 AM at 916 Second street, Snohomish, Washington. ALL are welcome.
—In the first reading, the Prophet Hosea muses on what he believes God's attitude toward the sins of the people looks lik.
—The Psalmist (psalm 50) tells the people to " Offer to God a sacrifice of thanksgiving and make good your vows to the Most High."
—The reading from Paul's letter to the Roman Community, he proclaims that' God's promise is all gift.
—In the Gospel reading from Matthew we hear Jesus calling a sinner (Matthew the tax collector) as a disciple, the derisory response of some Pharisees, and then the story of the healing of Jairus' daughter.

THE COLLECT OF THE DAY: Holy God, you sent your Son to bring us truth, and your Holy Spirit to help us be holy; open our hearts to exalt you, and open our lives to reveal you, our one true God, who created us, who redeemed us, and who sustains us still. Today we celebrated Pentecost and renewed our baptismal vows. We also prayed for recently lost service members and honored all lost military members as part of Memorial Day.
THE COLLECT OF THE DAY: Holy God, from the day of Pentecost to this day you have filled your people with the Spirit and united us in your Church. As we search for ways to share this gift, we pray that you use us as
channels for your Spirit, that your name is glorified, and that all creation is enriched with the transformative power of your grace. All this we ask through Jesus Christ our Savior, who lives and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

Join us THIS SUNDAY, May 10th, as we celebrate the 6th Sunday of the Easter Season, 10 AM at 916 Second Street, Snohomish, WA.

—The first reading, from the Acts of the Apostles, describes Paul's famous sermon in Athens about the "Unknown God" .
—Psalm 66, known also as the " Jubilate Deo" offers thanksgiving to God for all of God's blessings.
—The reading from the first letter of Peter continues to offer advice on Godly living.
—In the Gospel reading, John's Jesus continues to speak about love.

THE COLLECT. Let us pray: Eternal God, we believe that for us, your Son Jesus Christ is the way, the truth and the life for all creation.
