The House Church

The House Church Believe - Belong - Become. Sunday Service 10am We are a non-denominated faith community planted in the heart of Snohomish, Wa.

We are a church that is Gospel centered and Kingdom focused. We exist to give people the opportunity to follow Jesus and eliminate every excuse along the way. We are committed to helping people become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ so they can learn their God-given purpose and live for others. You can expect caring people, a comfortable and casual atmosphere, passionate worship, inspiring

and illustrative messages, and a place your children will love. Although the atmosphere is casual, we are in no way casual about our commitment to Jesus Christ or sharing God's unconditional love. At The HOUSE people come just as they are, however they rarely leave the same way they came. We are a ministry committed to serving all ages with excellence and it is our honor to serve you, your friends, your family, and our community. The HOUSE is where your entire family can grow in God...a place to believe, belong and become.

Identity Gets Redefined

God’s kahal, God’s ecclesia, God’s church redefines identity by covenant — not by man-made categories.

They were no longer defined by birthplace or bloodline.

They were defined by the fact that God had called them to belong to Him. Period.

From Sunday’s message: Ekklesia – Part 4.

If this stirred something, don’t sit with it alone—come Sunday.

Same Pattern. Same People.

In Acts 2 there were Jews from every nation… and proselytes.

The thing that unified them was not blood.

It was belief.

From Sunday’s message: Ekklesia – Part 4.

The Bond Was Never Bloodline

A mixed multitude went up with them.

The common bond that held them together was not where they came from.

It was belief.

The Church Did Not Begin at Pentecost

It began with a promise.

It began with God’s initiative to gather a people unto Himself.

And the Scriptures tell us this was His purpose and plan from the beginning.

When Does Someone Become Part of the Church?

When a Jewish person receives the gospel and believes in Jesus… when do they become part of the church?

The answer changes everything about how we see one body in Christ.

From Sunday’s message: Ekklesia – Part 3.

Why This Matters

I’ve literally lost friends because of what I’ve taught straight out of the Bible.

There are relationships on the line — between people and the Lord, and between people and people.

From Sunday’s message: Ekklesia – Part 3.

You Belong to a Story Bigger Than Yourself
Your faith is rooted in a promise spoken thousands of years before you were born.
This is not a new church. It’s a continuation of the one Jesus is building.
From Sunday’s message: Ekklesia – Part 2.
If this stirred something, don’t sit with it alone—come Sunday.
Join us Sunday at 10:00 AM at The House Ministry Center.

The Church Began with a Promise
Long before Sinai… long before Pentecost… God spoke a blessing over Jacob: “That you may become a company of peoples.”
This is where the story of God’s gathered people begins.

If this stirred something, don’t sit with it alone—come Sunday.

The Church Did Not Begin at Pentecost
Once you see from the Scriptures that the Qahal promised to Jacob becomes the Qahal gathered at Mount Sinai… you can’t unsee it.

From Sunday’s message: Ekklesia – Part 2.
If this stirred something, don’t sit with it alone—come Sunday.
That’s the heart of this week’s message—but it’s even better in the room.

This is Part 1 of our new series: Ekklesia.

For generations, many of us have held a particular view of when and how the church began. This series is going to challenge some of those assumptions and take a closer look at what Scripture actually says about the people of God across both the Old and New Testaments.

If you’re ready for Part 2, see you Sunday.
