Did you know today is the feast day of Our Lady of Lourdes?⁣
On this day in 1858, Our Lady appeared to St. Bernadette for the first time, and appeared to her 18 times over the course of two weeks. On February 25, Our Lady told Bernadette to "drink of the water of the spring, to wash in it and to eat the herb that grew there.” She also asked for a small chapel to be built for her on the site and for a procession to be formed. Today, millions make pilgrimages to Lourdes to drink the miraculous water to obtain healing.⁣
