Proverb 14:34 gives us a startlingly simple diagnosis of why nations rise and why they crumble.
It points past economics, politics, and military strength to something deeper: moral and spiritual character.

It says that when a people are marked by what God calls “right,” they are lifted up. But when sin is allowed to grow comfortable and normal, shame and breakdown follow.

Moral and spiritual choices are never “just private.” They shape the climate of the home, the street, the courtroom, the classroom, and eventually the nation.

God told Israel, “if My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land” (2 Chronicles 7:14).

Make God your true hope and foundation!

Their lives consisted in the abundance of wealth and worldly pleasure. And where your treasure is there your heart goes. Lot’s wife was leaving the scene, but her heart was still there. If you are willing and obedient, you will eat the good of the land.

The Empty Tomb and the Full Promise. Matthew 28:6

The early morning visit of the women to Jesus’ tomb was meant to be a moment of mourning, not of marvel. Instead, they are met with an angelic announcement that turns the world upside down: the place where they laid His body is now empty, and the reason is not theft or rumor but power and promise. The message centers on a simple reality—Jesus is no longer in the grave because He has done exactly what He said He would do. Matthew 28:6 is heaven’s declaration that death has been confronted and defeated, and that every word Christ spoke about His death and resurrection stands proven in history, not just in theory. He Is Alive! He Is Risen!
