Many faithful supporters are discovering SMART Giving as they prepare for year-end generosity.

If you're 70½ or older, a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) may allow you to support The Gospel Mission directly from your IRA. If you're 73 or older and taking a Required Minimum Distribution (RMD), a QCD may be an option worth exploring.

Hunger isn't always visible.

Many people picture homelessness when they think about hunger, but food insecurity affects thousands of people right here in our community.

In Woodbury County alone, nearly 14,000 individuals face food insecurity, including hardworking families, seniors on fixed incomes, and those experiencing unexpected hardships.

At The Gospel Mission, we witness these needs every day through our meal ministry and community outreach. During Hunger Action Month, you can help provide nourishment, hope, and encouragement to those who need it most.

What does it look like to love our neighbors?

Sometimes it begins with something as simple as offering a meal.

As we enter Hunger Action Month, we invite you to walk with us as we shine a light on hunger in our community and the people impacted by it every day.

"Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ." Galatians 6:2

At The Gospel Mission, we see firsthand the power of compassion. A meal can provide nourishment. A conversation can provide encouragement. The love of Christ can provide lasting hope.

The Gospel Mission Team + 20 additional agencies at the Community Resource Fair today (8/17/2026) from 1 PM - 3 PM located at the Siouxland Community Health Center 10th & Pierce Street.

Join us on Monday the 17th from 1-3 at the Mobile Showers for our next resource fair! We have over 20 agencies signed up to provide same day services for our unhoused neighbors-- and anyone who wants to stop by. We will have snow cones for this host August day, too!
