Hey Facebook friends (IMPORTANT…Read to the end!):

Those who know me, know I’m a 7th Degree black belt in Taekwondo and I have been teaching along with Mr. Marshall for over 42 years.

As a separate training, I have learned over the years, how to help women walk to streets safer, becoming certified as a R**e Prevention Specialist.

I have taught many different self-defense classes over the years but about 10 years ago I found the best program I have ever taught in over 30 years. It’s called TARGET FOCUS TRAINING, and it teaches the most important information to allow you to walk away from a violent encounter alive! One of the things I like the most about it is that it levels the playing field! It doesn’t matter if you’re male or female, short or tall, skinny or fat, old or young, even healthy or disabled!… No one has a real advantage when you learn this simple program.

So, I have some questions for you. What would you do in the first 5 seconds of being assaulted on the street? Are you a mom? What if it happens when you have your kids with you? Are you a dad? Could you protect your family when it happens? Maybe you’re college age and heading off to college this fall? Or you have college aged kids and they are leaving for college? Or, maybe the question is, will you be coming home to the people who love you tonight?

What I have to offer you is how to handle the most critical 5 seconds of your life!

The course is weekly for 12 weeks, but I want you to understand what you will learn by offering you a FREE Introductory Class on Monday night, July 22nd.

The class will be held at Marshall’s Taekwondo Academy’s new location, 117 Midvale (the old Lincoln Elementary School), at 7:30 PM and should last about an hour (depending on how many sign up). See attached flyer for more details.

Please take advantage of this FREE opportunity. You will learn 4 incredibly effective strikes that could save your life or the lives of those you love!

I’m looking forward to seeing you on Monday night, July 22nd, at 7:30 PM!

For more information, you can reach out to me here or call or text me at 712-490-8800. If you call, leave me a message as I don’t answer unknown numbers.

Thanks for taking the time to read this to the end!

It's that time of year again! Tomorrow night, Tuesday, December 20th, at sundown marks the end of the last day of Passover.

Those who have followed me in years past know that I love the holiday of Passover but I love the end of it so I can go have Pizza again!

The last few years have been tough between the pandemic and, last year the last night fell on Sunday and none of the pizza places were open after sundown.

This year, my challenge is that I teach Taekwondo on Tuesday nights and I don't get done till 9:00. The good news is, Buffalo Alice (or, as most people know it as BA's) is open till 10:00.

If any of you local Facebook friends feel like joining me, I'll be heading down right after TKD for my annual After Passover Pizza!

I can't buy for y'all but I'd love to have your company if you're so inclined. See y'all tomorrow (Tuesday) night if you feel like dropping in! JSP

Special thanks to Rabbi Alperowitz for sharing matzah with Jews living across South Dakota and for buying from Ukrainian Jewish bakers to support them through this difficult time.
