We know sports and sleeping in are winning some Sundays. Fair enough — but hear us out. 👂

Sunday morning has a lot of competition right now — travel teams, one more hour of sleep, a week that finally has a slow moment in it. 😴

We're not here to guilt you about any of that. 🚫

We're just here to say: whenever you land, there's a seat with your name on it. No guilt for the weeks you missed. No dress code. No pretending you've got it all figured out — most of us don't either. 💯

Come as you are. Bring the kids — they'll be loved on well. Come tired. Come skeptical. Come because you used to do this and kind of miss it.

In Mark 9:1-13, we see Jesus' Transfiguration. This story is used to illustrate that Jesus is greater than everyone who came before him. He is the greater Moses and greater Elijah.

This story is also meant to show us the importance of the mountain top moments. These moments are amazing, but we don't live there. What God shows us on the mountain top is meant to help us in the valley.

Life is not meant to be lived on the mountain or in the valley. The good news is God has a green pasture of provision, protection, peace, and contentment.

When we find ourselves in the valley, let’s remind ourselves of the good times we have had with God.
