I apologize for not being consistent like I wanted to be with our Study the Bible Videos and sending out the notifications and graphics so that you all can keep consistent with the series. So this is where we left off. Please study in your devotional time these books of Acts.
Acts 9 — Saul’s Conversion & the Power of Transformation
Core Lesson: Jesus can transform any life, even the ones that seem furthest away.
Saul, once a persecutor, becomes Paul — a chosen vessel for the nations. The First Church learns that God raises up unlikely leaders and calls the community to trust His transforming work.
Response to Covenant:
We will welcome everyone as a Brother or Sister whom God transforms.
Acts 10 — Peter & Cornelius: The Gospel for All Nations
Core Lesson: God shows no partiality. The Holy Spirit breaks cultural barriers and welcomes every kindred, tongue, people, and nation. Peter obeys God’s voice, and the Gentiles receive the Spirit just as the Jews did.
Response to Covenant:
I will participate in God’s plan for every kindred, tongue, people, and nation.
Acts 15 — The Jerusalem Council: Guarding Grace & Unity
Core Lesson: Salvation is through grace, not cultural requirements. The apostles protect unity by refusing to place burdens where God has given freedom. The First Church establishes doctrine that keeps believers grounded in Scripture and united in Christ.
Response to Covenant:
We will keep Biblical principles and promote unity even amid different views.
