Can ordinary people bless others? The answer is a resounding yes, and we'd love to show you how! Every year, on the Sunday before Labor Day, we build our entire service around one thing: sending the ECC family into fall with a blessing. This year we'll open our Bibles and see how imperfect people aren't only recipients of God's grace, but conduits of it to others.

Join us this fall for "Prayer & Listening" by Jan Johnson, a 7-week study on the discipline of prayer and practicing God’s presence. Gather with other women to learn how to have a real conversation with God and how to hear what God is saying back to you.

The study runs from October 1 through November 18. There are four different groups of 8-10 women. Each group meets on a different day and time each week, and the specific start dates are listed below. Some groups meet in homes while one meets at Emmanuel Studios. Do you have a project you've been waiting to finish? Would you like to spend a day with other women from the Emmanuel community?

You're invited to join us for a Craft Gathering at Emmanuel Studios on Saturday, September 19. The event runs from 10:00am to 3:00pm. Come when you can and leave when you must. Either way, we'd love to see you!

Lunch will be provided (cash donations welcomed to help cover costs). Register to let us know you're coming so we can include you in the lunch count.

Bring something to work on and your own supplies. Complete your quilting, sewing, card making, diamond painting, cross-stitch, scrapbooking, or ancestry project. And if you don't have a craft to do, come admire the work of others. This is an opportunity for fellowship, community, and deeper connections as we enter the fall season.

Do you enjoy being outside in the beauty of God's creation? Are you looking to connect with people in the Emmanuel community? Are you curious about which feathered friends reside in our local parks?
September is migration season, and you're invited to join us for bird watching as a spiritual practice. We'll meet at Emmanuel Studios at 8:00am, have a short time of prayer and instruction, and then drive over to Long Lake Regional Park. We'll return to the Studios afterwards for refreshments and conversation about the experience.

Our very own Milan Homola is a professional birder, and he will lead the walk. Please bring your own binoculars or borrow a pair from a friend. We will have a very limited number on hand as well.

Register soon as we are keeping the group intentionally small for a good experience. This event is open to adults and kids of all ages. Wear good walking shoes and dress for the weather.

Join us tonight, August 21 at 6:30pm for our Juntos Park Gathering! We will meet at Emmanuel Studios and then go over as a group to Long Lake Regional Park across the street.
