Happy Mother’s Day, Issachar family.
Today we thank God for the moms in our lives. The ones who rocked us to sleep, packed our lunches, prayed over us when we didn’t know we needed it, and loved us through every season. We honor you today.

We also remember that this day carries weight for many. For those whose mothers are no longer here. For those who long to be mothers and are still waiting. For those whose relationship with mom is complicated or painful. For the spiritual mothers who have poured into others without ever having children of their own. You are seen today too, and you are loved.

Scripture reminds us that the Lord is “a father to the fatherless, a defender of widows” (Psalm 68:5). His care reaches every corner of our stories.

To every woman who has nurtured, mentored, fed, taught, prayed, and loved well: thank you. The Kingdom is richer because of you.

What a beautiful afternoon at Issachar Church's Women's Tea Party!

Thank you to every woman who came out today to share in fellowship, food, and laughter around tables set with such care. From the floral centerpieces to the tea hats, from the delicious food to the sweet tea, every detail reflected the love poured into making this day special.

A heartfelt thank you to our Women's Ministry Committee, whose vision and hard work brought this event to life. We especially want to recognize Connie, who was a vital part of the planning even though she could not be with us today. We added her to our group photo (thanks to a little help from AI) because she was truly there in spirit and in every thoughtful detail.

To everyone who set tables, arranged flowers, brewed tea, prepared food, shared a word, or simply showed up with a joyful heart, thank you. This is what the family of God looks like.

We love you, ladies. Until next time!
