Come early and be part of the morning with us:

🙏 Prayer — 8:30–9:15 AM
☕ I.C. Fellowship — 9:15–9:45 AM
🙌 Sunday Service — 10:00 AM

Come pray with us, grab some coffee and a donut, meet some people, and then worship with us at 10.

LifeWise Academy serves 5th, 6th, and 7th graders in Sheridan — Bible class and a hot lunch during the school day.

Here's the problem. The bus we've been borrowing goes back in November. If we don't have our own bus by then, kids don't ride.

Elisabeth caught something in Sunday’s message I want you to hear.

When Jesus says “I am the good shepherd,” the word isn’t good the way we mean good. Not “pretty decent.” Not “better than most.” The word means the ideal one. The pattern. The thing every other shepherd gets measured against.

Which is a harder sentence than it sounds like. It means he isn’t grading on a curve, and it means nobody gets to say they’re too young to be held to it.

That’s where she took it. She thinks God wants to use teenagers now, not in ten years when they’ve got their life together. I’d say she’s right.

She’s my daughter, and she’s spent more time thinking about kids in this town than anybody I know.

The hired hand doesn't run because he's a coward.

He runs because the sheep aren't his.

That's the line from John 10 I couldn't put down after yesterday. Jesus doesn't contrast himself with a bad shepherd. He contrasts himself with an employee.

Most of us spend most of our week around employees. Including ourselves. And after enough years of that you start to believe it's what you are. A number. Replaceable by Thursday.

Two verses earlier Jesus says the shepherd calls his own sheep by name.

Not by number. By name.
