This Emaus Small Group meets weekly at the Gospel of Life in Moore. The group is made up of participants from Sacred Heart/Rother Shrine, St. James, Little Flower, and St. Joseph in Norman. Together they gather to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ and to learn more about His Church. Through prayer, faith-sharing, study, and fellowship, they encourage one another as disciples on the journey of faith.

Este Grupo Pequeño de Emaús se reúne semanalmente en Gospel of Life en Moore. El grupo está formado por participantes del Sagrado Corazón/Santuario del Beato Stanley Rother, St. James, Little Flower y St. Joseph en Norman. Juntos se reúnen para crecer en su relación con Jesucristo y aprender más sobre Su Iglesia. A través de la oración, el compartir de la fe, el estudio y la convivencia fraterna, se animan mutuamente como discípulos en el camino de la fe.

As we approach the celebration of Pentecost, these small groups are living evidence that the Holy Spirit continues to pour out His love upon the Church.

The Spirit poured out love upon the Twelve Apostles.

And now, the Spirit continues to pour out that same love upon the 21 Emaus Small Groups.

What began in the Upper Room continues today — through prayer, fraternity, discipleship, and hearts set on fire for Jesus Christ. 🔥

Mientras nos acercamos a la celebración de Pentecostés, estos pequeños grupos son evidencia viva de que el Espíritu Santo continúa derramando su amor sobre la Iglesia.

El Espíritu derramó amor sobre los Doce Apóstoles.

Y ahora, el Espíritu continúa derramando ese mismo amor sobre los 21 Pequeños Grupos de Emaús.

Lo que comenzó en el Aposento Alto continúa hoy — por medio de la oración, la fraternidad, el discipulado y corazones encendidos por Jesucristo. 🔥

Congratulations to Alan Mar and Armando Galván’s Small Group for completing the first book!

Agradecido de pasar el día recibiendo capacitación del Departamento de Correcciones junto con otros siete nuevos voluntarios del Ministerio de Prisiones de Emaús, mientras nos preparamos para servir a quienes están encarcelados con el amor y la esperanza de Jesucristo.

¡Con estos nuevos voluntarios, nuestro equipo del Ministerio de Prisiones de Emaús ahora crece a 12 miembros! 🙏

Grateful to be spending the day receiving Department of Corrections training alongside seven other new Emaus Prison Ministry volunteers as we prepare to serve those who are incarcerated with the love and hope of Jesus Christ.

With these new volunteers, our Emaus Prison Ministry team now grows to 12 members! 🙏

Hospital Ministry Team

This is Emaus Health — a ministry dedicated to visiting and accompanying the sick at Southwest Medical Center. Our main outreach is to patients whose primary language is Spanish.

Every member of this team speaks Spanish and is a disciple who has a burning desire to be an instrument of Jesus healing presence.

We are also greatly blessed to have Deacon Cuu as part of our team. He serves as a Catholic chaplain at the hospital and brings tremendous pastoral care and experience to this ministry.

Este es Emaus Health — un ministerio dedicado a visitar y acompañar a los enfermos en Southwest Medical Center. Nuestro principal enfoque es servir a pacientes cuyo idioma principal es el español.

Cada miembro de este equipo habla español y es un discípulo con un ardiente deseo de ser instrumento de la presencia sanadora de Jesús.

También somos grandemente bendecidos de contar con el Diácono Cuu como parte de nuestro equipo. Él sirve como capellán católico en el hospital y aporta una enorme experiencia y atención pastoral a este ministerio.
