Be sure to come to church this Sunday May 24th: Former Pastor Gary Hawkins will be preaching! You will be blessed! He would love to see you!

Gloria and I are traveling to the Lawrence Kansas area for the memorial day weekend. I have no plans to preach, but we will be in church on Sunday, and I will be ready if called on.

Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers in the Shawnee area!

Had a great Mother's Day celebration Sunday at church today. Thank you sister Ruth Walker, my wife Gloria, daughter Rachel, and all the women for recognizing and gifting the many mothers in attendance today.

Preached on 1 Samuel 1:15 "No, my lord, I am a woman of a sorrowful spirit."

Good Monday Morning Shawnee!! What a great day at church yesterday. Two of my grandchildren were baptized with a full house witnessing. Praise the Lord!

I asked my grandchildren, now that you're saved, what's next?

The Lord led me to preach on Abiding in Christ John 15:4 and 1 John 2:27-28. The anointing of the Holy Ghost is given for us to abide in Christ while living in a world trying to seduce us from abiding in Him no matter what state or condition our lives are in. But God the Holy Ghost is given to enable us to abide in Christ whether we be suffering, in adversity, rich or poor. Jesus says, abide in me, and I in you.

Hello Shawnee! I apologize for not posting as often as I would like. I try to post on Monday mornings, usually a slower day than others, but not recently. Hey, we are all busy right? No excuses pastor!

We are coming out of a revival with Cornerstone LA pastor Bryce Scott, and Earlsboro worship leaders Patricia Brown and Kellie Komacheet, and it was a heart penetrating revival on the long time theme scripture of the church: Matthew 11:27-30.

There were many decisions made during the revival most of which I am not at liberty to share, but I can share that one of my grandsons and one of my grand-daughters believed and received Jesus Christ into their heart on Resurrection Celebration Sunday! Praise the Lord!

I want you to know, First Indian Baptist Church of Shawnee Oklahoma, is not my church, it is God's church, and we are here for you. Jesus Christ has need of you! saying, Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

West Virginia advanced to the College Basketball Crown semifinal with an 82–77 overtime win over Stanford. Treysen Eaglestaff added 18 points, four rebounds, and three assists in the overtime thriller. He represents the Cheyenne River Sioux.
