We asked our Kids Blast cast one simple question:

“What is this year’s skit about?”

The answers were… confidently incorrect. 😂

Good thing they’ll do better on stage than they did in this interview.

Kids Blast started TONIGHT, and trust us - the real story is way better than flying waffles…

What forms us shapes us.

This week in Binge the Bible, we looked at the story of Jephthah in the book of Judges - a powerful reminder that passion isn’t the same as truth, and that the voices we allow to shape us matter more than we realize.

The people of Israel had drifted so far from God that they no longer remembered who He truly was. Their compromise didn’t happen overnight, and neither does ours.

The question isn’t whether we’re being formed. The question is: who or what is forming us?

As we closed, we were reminded of the good news of Jesus: we don’t have to earn God’s love or negotiate for His favor. Through Christ, the victory has already been won.

The heartbeat behind everything we do? This team.

This week we got to celebrate both Staff and PK‘s (Pastor’s Kids), and it was such a beautiful reminder of the people behind the ministry. From early mornings to late nights, from Sundays to midweek moments, it all happens because of a team that serves with joy and faithfulness… and families who serve right alongside them.

We are so grateful for our GO Church staff, lead pastors, and PKs who live the reality that ministry is more than what happens on stage - it’s what happens in homes, in conversations, and in everyday faithfulness.

Week 2 of Binge the Bible, Jason Isaacs reminded us that compromise always costs more than we think.

In Judges 2, we saw the cycle so many of us fall into:
Things go good → we forget about God → things go bad → we run back to Him.

We talked about the difference between regret and true repentance, how subtle idols can be, and this powerful reminder:
Sometimes God will let things get bad to get our attention - not because He’s abandoned us, but because He loves us too much to leave us there.

Even in Israel’s failure, God still raised up a rescuer.
And through Jesus, we have a Savior who never gives up on us.

Compromise always costs more than you think.

This week we kicked off our new series, Binge the Bible: Judges, and from the very first chapter, we were reminded how easy it is to slowly drift from God one small compromise at a time.

The cycle in Judges is still the cycle we see today:
We drift.
We struggle.
We cry out.
God rescues.
And somehow, we drift again.

Partial obedience may seem harmless in the moment, but what we tolerate today can eventually take territory in our hearts tomorrow.

God’s boundaries were never meant to punish us, they were meant to protect us.
Because what we refuse to remove can eventually begin to rule us.

Maybe the Holy Spirit highlighted an area in your life where you’ve been saying, “It’s not that serious.”
Don’t ignore the warning.
God’s grace is still calling us back.

Even when we compromise and fail, Jesus remains faithful. ❤️
