Gil Loggins was a loving husband, father, grandfather, friend, and founding member of Real Life Church. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Gil will be fondly remembered for his carefree spirit, love for Jimmy Buffett, and unwavering faith in our Savior.

Real Life Church will host a memorial service in Gil's honor on October 18th. The viewing will be held at twelve-thirty, and the service will begin at one.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made to Real Life Church or the Wounded Warrior Project.

It's starting to feel like Fall here at Real Life Church! 🍂

We kicked off the season with a message about living life on purpose. In the middle of a difficult season of loss, we were reminded of the hope we have when we choose to live a full life for God.

It's important to ask ourselves questions: "What legacy do we want to leave?" "What do we want generations to say about us?"

The answer to each question should be the same: living a life in direct reflection of God. Living for His purpose and glory.

We also participated in our annual RLC Chili Cook-Off! It was a tough competition, but only the best can win! Congratulations to all of our 2026 winners! 🌶️

And in the words of our newest Grand Champ:

"I'm humbled and honored that I actually won RLC's Chili Cook-Off...The championship belt will be displayed under a light and below some of my citations and awards, flanked by two great presidents, Washington and Lincoln." 🏆

Thank you to everyone who made yesterday a great Sunday! Till next year for another round of chili, competition, and community!
