Growing up surrounded by New Age and illicit activities led to a disturbing encounter with darkness and voices. But finding the Lord brought profound healing. There are real spiritual forces in the world, but believers don’t have to live afraid of darkness. Jesus is supreme, and through the cross He has disarmed every power and authority.

This week we talked about the powers of darkness and the supremacy of Christ.

Here are 3 reminders from the message:

1️⃣ Jesus has all authority
The enemy may try to influence, accuse, or deceive, but he has no legal right over those who are in Christ. Jesus has conquered, disarmed, and triumphed over every power of darkness.

2️⃣ Know who you are in Christ
When fear, shame, anxiety, or lies try to take root, we don’t fight from weakness. We stand in the truth that we are forgiven, made alive, complete in Christ, and filled with the Holy Spirit.

3️⃣ Be equipped to bring light
People around us may be searching spiritually in all the wrong places. We don’t need to respond with fear or judgment, but with truth, confidence, and the good news of Jesus.

If you’ve felt afraid, confused, or intimidated by darkness, remember this: Christ is supreme, the enemy is defeated, and you belong to Jesus. 🙏

Where do you need to stand firm in the victory of Christ this week?
