Pastor Victoria was teaching us yesterday! She exposed how centuries of misreading Mary and Martha's story in Luke 10 has trained the church to denigrate the household work usually reserved for women while exalting the "real" ministry work men do outside the home.
She reclaimed this story to remind us: no matter what kind of work you do for God, it's all holy.

Jesus said the kingdom of God belongs to the children. So every 2nd & 4th Sunday at QABC, we make sure they know it.

While you worship in the sanctuary, your kids get their own space with their own music, lessons, and a unique experience of God. Our children's church programming is biblically rooted and justice-oriented, because we believe kids are never too young to learn that their faith has something to say about the world they're growing up in.
