We live in uncertain times. True. However, uncertain times are nothing new to the Christian or to the stories of the Bible. The Book of Revelation was written to seven churches during an uncertain time of persecution. It encourages them to stand strong in their faith with the confidence that evil will one day be destroyed. May we have the same hope in our time.

Making Coffee, Greeting Congregants, Serving Communion, Praying, Reading Scripture, and Preparing the Sanctuary are just a few of the ways our congregation demonstrates its spirit of service on Sundays. Our weekly worship is a celebration of God’s work in our community, and the blessing of our Sunday Serve Teams elevates all three components of our mission: Love People. Connect to Jesus. Serve the World.

On Wednesday, September 16th at 7 pm, we will gather in the sanctuary. If you currently serve on one or more Sunday teams, please join us! If you’re wondering how to serve, join us! And here’s the exciting part: if you’re unsure if serving on Sundays is for you but are open to being inspired by or asking questions of the amazing people currently serving, join us!

We’ll meet at 7 pm, right after The Table, our weekly community dinner. If you’d like to witness that ministry in action, join us for a free meal, discussion, and prayer. Come to the gym an hour early at 6 pm to do both!

We will kick off the fall season at FFMC with worship at 10:00 a.m. followed by an all-church lunch featuring fried chicken and a side dish potluck. (Bring your favorite picnic dish to share!)

You can drop off your potluck item in the upper Fine Center kitchen before worship.

There will also be a “Best Homemade Chocolate Chip Cookie” contest.
