Although we initially thought that our food drive would just last for a season, we’ve noticed that many of our neighbors in need are relying on the food items in Emmanuel's 'little free pantry' on the corner of 50th & Dayton. Let’s continue to keep our supplies stocked! Please consider bringing a few items with you to church each week, and contact Brenna with any questions.

If you consider Emmanuel your church home, please plan to join us for our annual business meeting following the worship service on Sunday, June 28. At this important (but hopefully brief!) gathering we will hear reports from our leaders on various aspects of our community life, discuss plans for next year's budget, and elect congregants to fill leadership roles for the coming year.

Our Annual Report with leadership nominations and budget proposal will be emailed to registered church members a week before the meeting, but if you have any questions in the mean time feel free to reach out to our Church Chairperson, Holly Prairie.

We need some help staffing our clothing & supply closet on Sunday nights - each week we need someone to be in that room while Sunday Dinners are happening, and that someone can be you! The main job is to help organize donated items and to help guests shop for the items they need. Maybe you’re not able to commit to being one of the main coordinators for this ministry yet, but maybe you could sign up to help once a month? Please talk to Pastor Bob or Tara Beatty to find out more. And of course... we also have many open dates for periodic cooks and meal servers in the upcoming months - including openings for a meal cook & server on May 31. Please reach out to our volunteer coordinator Linnea if you're able to help at any time in these upcoming weeks.

It's that time of year again - new membership class is just around the corner! Becoming an official member of the church is about the spiritual journey of committing to a particular community, and it also involves some practical things too - like the ability to vote at our annual business meeting and the opportunity to join the formal leadership teams of the church. If you are interested in taking this step, or just learning more about the history and values of Emmanuel, please reach out to Pastor Bob to express your interest, and he will share more info about the timing of the meeting (which will likely be on a Sunday afternoon later this month). For more information about the process, please visit our the Membership on our website.
