Join us for a special Seder (Passover) Dinner on Thursday, April 9th at 6pm at Bethany West Seattle.

The evening will incorporate the Seder Plate with a variety of ingredients that help tell the story of God and God’s people during the Exodus and will be led by our good friend Rabbi Matt Rosenberg ( ), Rabbi at Restoration Seattle, a Messianic Jewish Fellowship in North Seattle.

This is meant to be a fun, interactive, and very family-friendly event, so bring your family and friends!

Bethany West Seattle will cover most of the cost, but we do ask that each adult pay $20. If finances are an issue, discount codes are available when registering. We want everybody to be able to participate!

Week one of practicing rest; we invite you to this practice;

Text reads:

Jesus said to them,
“Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest.”
— Mark 6:31a

“Thus the heavens and the earth were completed in all their vast array. By the seventh day God had finished the work he had been doing; so on the seventh day he rested from all his work. Then God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it he rested from all the work of creating that he had done.”
Genesis 2:1-3

Quiet.

Gaze at the image of Christ in the field. What colors, shapes, and details do you notice?
Take a deep breath. What feelings stir in you as you ponder this image? Listen to how the Spirit might be speaking to you. What invitation emerges? Creator God, after six days of creating, You rested and called it blessed. Draw us deeper into Your holy rhythms and expand our imagination around rest that we may discover the flourishing that comes from living in alignment with Your design; through Christ our Rested Savior who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
