What if the way we loved each other was so different that people couldn't help but notice? This Sunday we explored Ephesians 4-5, where Paul calls us to walk in the way of love as children of the light.

Becoming mature in faith isn't just about what we believe—it's about how we live. It's about putting off anger, bitterness, and unwholesome talk, and instead choosing kindness, compassion, and forgiveness. Why? Because that's how Christ loved us first.

Paul's message was revolutionary then and remains so today: "Follow God's example, therefore, as dearly loved children and walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us" (Ephesians 5:1-2). When we forgive as we've been forgiven, when we build each other up instead of tearing down, we become a living witness that catches the world's attention.

You are light in the Lord. Live as children of light.

What brings people together? Shared interests, life seasons, common values? In the church, we're united by something far greater—we're all sinners saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ.

This Sunday we explored Ephesians 4 and discovered that God has made us ONE family through one Lord, one faith, one baptism, and one Spirit. We're not called to agree on everything, but we ARE called to love each other well—with humility, patience, and generous grace. It's time to stop being spiritual infants and grow up together, putting off our old ways and putting on the new life Christ offers.

The question isn't whether we're technically "one" in Christ—it's whether we'll actually love each other like it. When we do, the world will know we are Christians by our love. God has gifted each of us to build each other up and radiate His glory wherever we go.

How big is God's love for you? In Ephesians 3, Paul prays that we would grasp how wide, long, high, and deep Christ's love is—as vast as the universe itself. This isn't just a nice idea; it's the power that makes the impossible possible.

God specializes in doing what seems impossible. He brought Jews and Gentiles together as one family. He fills imperfect people with His Spirit. He takes our broken pieces and creates something beautiful. And He wants you to know: "I love you so much. You are such a delight to me."

As we move into the second half of Ephesians this Sunday, we'll explore what this immeasurable love looks like in our daily relationships and practical living. Until then, I encourage you to pray Paul's prayer from Ephesians 3:16-19 for yourself and others—that you would be strengthened with power to grasp the massive love of Christ for you.
May you walk through this week knowing that God's love for you is bigger than any challenge you face, and may His Spirit radiate through you to bring more of heaven to earth.
