Multicultural Celebration Service | All for Christ

Grateful for a meaningful Sunday together as we celebrated the many cultures, stories, and generations represented in our church family.

Through the flag processional, worship, Scripture, message, responsive confession, video, and fellowship, we were reminded that the church belongs to Christ. He is the One who brings us near, breaks down walls, and makes us one family.

From Ephesians 2, we were reminded:

Without Christ, we were far off — but by His blood, we have been brought near.

Jesus Himself is our peace.

Church unity is not optional; it is part of what Jesus died to create.

The church is not beautiful because everyone is the same. It is beautiful when different people, cultures, generations, and stories are united under one Savior, Lord, and King.

May we continue to be a church that builds longer tables, not higher walls — where people are welcomed, seen, and cared for as family in Christ.

One Family. One Savior. All for Christ.

“What the cross has destroyed, we must never rebuild.”

A lot of people today are carrying things quietly — stress, disappointment, exhaustion, questions about life and faith. That’s why Sundays like this still matter.

This week at FCC, we reflected on the message “The Unlikely Thief: Saved at the Edge of Eternity,” and were reminded that no one is beyond the grace of God and that it’s dangerous to keep putting off repentance.

“Today, if you hear His voice, do not harden your hearts.” — Hebrews 3:15

It was also good seeing new people step in to help lead worship, sharing a meal together after service, and taking time to pray for Nanay Mimi on her birthday.

Not because these things are extraordinary on their own, but because moments of worship, truth, prayer, and community still matter in a world that often feels disconnected.

This weekend, our FCC family gathered not simply to celebrate a degree, but to witness another testimony of God’s faithfulness through the years.

Behind every milestone are quiet seasons no one fully sees — long nights, sacrifices, disappointments, prayers whispered in faith, and the sustaining grace of God carrying someone step by step.

As we celebrated Abbey’s journey, we were reminded again that every achievement ultimately becomes an opportunity to magnify the Lord who strengthens, provides, and remains faithful through every season.

What a gift it is to walk through life together as a church family — rejoicing with one another, bearing one another’s burdens, and witnessing the goodness of God unfold in each other’s stories. ❤️

“Not to us, O Lord, not to us, but to Your name give glory, for the sake of Your steadfast love and Your faithfulness.”
— Psalm 115:1
