What an incredible Sports Week at Beautiful Savior!
Throughout the week, our school and youth group met for sports week. Each younger child was paired with an older youth who encouraged, supported, and cheered them on every step of the way. Together they learned beginning skills in soccer, basketball, volleyball, hurdle jumping, and jump rope all while building confidence, friendships, and teamwork.
More importantly, we spent time praying together, praising God, and learning that we are all part of His team. It was wonderful to watch older students lead by example with kindness, patience, and encouragement.
The week ended with big smiles, new friendships, a deeper understanding of God's love, and one question from so many of the kids: "When can we come back?"
A special thank you to all of our amazing leaders and volunteers. You truly stepped up and made this week one the children will remember for a long time. Thank you for showing Christ's love through your encouragement and servant hearts!
