God was present.
The house was full.
And we left different than we came.

Whatever this week has carried, let Jesus be the name above it all.

Above the worry, the uncertainty, the things you’re still waiting on God to answer. Above every circumstance competing for your attention.

As we head into the weekend, may we turn our hearts back to the One who has never changed.

The name that still saves, still heals, still restores, and still holds every part of our lives.

What good is an inheritance if we never live like we’ve received it?

In Christ, we have been given more than we could ever earn—grace, redemption, belonging, purpose, and every spiritual blessing. But our inheritance was never meant to simply make us more informed about Jesus. It should make us more like Him.

Paul saw this in the church at Ephesus. Their faith wasn’t staying contained within them; it was producing a visible love for the people around them. What God had done in them was now moving through them.

That’s what stewardship looks like in the Kingdom.

Everything we’ve received from Jesus becomes something we have the opportunity to extend to someone else. The grace we’ve been shown changes the grace we give. The love we’ve received changes the way we love. The generosity of God changes the way we hold our time, gifts, resources, and our lives.

We don’t store up what was freely given to us. We spend our lives pouring it out so that through the way we live, love, serve, and give, someone else might encounter the goodness of Jesus too. And the more we understand what we’ve inherited, the more our response begins to look like Paul’s: praise and prayer.

Praise because none of this started with us.
Prayer because we want others to know the same grace that has transformed us.

May our lives be marked not only by what we’ve received from Jesus, but by how freely we give it away.

The enemy would love for us to believe that one moment can undo God’s purpose for our lives.

In the garden, sin entered the story and separation became a reality. But even then, God already had a plan for redemption. Jesus wasn’t a response to something going wrong—Jesus was always the plan. And that truth should shape the way we walk through our own lives.

Not every event will be good. There will be things we don’t understand, moments we wouldn’t have chosen, and circumstances we wish looked different. But what happens in a moment doesn’t change who God is or the goodness of His plan.

We may not always understand what God is doing, but we can remain confident in who He is.

So when life doesn’t make sense, we don’t have to let the moment determine what we believe about God. We can stay rooted in His character, anchored in His Word, and trust that He sees what we can’t.

The story doesn’t end at the event.
Keep trusting the One who holds the whole story.

Around here, kids don’t just have somewhere to go while the grown-ups are in service, they have a place intentionally created for them.

A place to have fun, build friendships, ask big questions, discover who God created them to be, and grow in their faith. Every weekend, our Hero Kids team creates space for kids from birth through 5th grade to experience God in ways they can understand and carry with them.

But don’t just take our word for it… our tour guide can show you around!

We love what God is doing in the next generation at Pillar. 💛

What we continually feed will eventually grow.

Our flesh will always have an appetite for what feels good, comfortable, or satisfying in the moment. But not everything we crave is leading us toward the life God desires for us. Some things can satisfy us temporarily while slowly pulling our hearts away from Him.

Galatians 6 reminds us that what we sow matters. Every choice, every habit, every appetite we continue to feed is producing something in us. And over time, those small decisions begin to shape what we desire, what we depend on, and ultimately, how we live.

Walking by the Spirit means learning to recognize what is feeding our flesh and choosing instead to cultivate a deeper hunger for the things of God. Not simply denying ourselves for the sake of discipline, but making room for Him to transform our desires from the inside out.

Pay attention to what you’re feeding. It’s producing something in you.

What an incredible weekend at Pillar.

God moved in powerful ways, and we’re grateful for every person who joined us. While this is just a glimpse into Sunday at Pillar, we’re celebrating all that God did throughout the weekend.

We’re already looking forward to gathering again this weekend—to worship, build community, and encounter God together.
