It is with profound sadness that we share the unexpected passing of Pastor Eddie Turner on August 23, 2026.
Eddie was a beloved father, brother, uncle, pastor, educator, mentor, and friend whose life touched so many. Most importantly, he was a devoted father to his three children, Kaia, Xavier, and Eddie IV, who now face an unimaginable loss.
Eddie dedicated his life to serving God and others. He was a beloved Associate Pastor at Glendale Seventh-day Adventist Church, Pastor of Maricopa Village Seventh-day Adventist Church, and Principal of Glenview Adventist Academy, where he had also previously served as Chaplain and Bible teacher. Through his ministry, teaching, leadership, and friendship, Eddie made a lasting impact on countless students, families, church members, and members of the community. He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.
Eddie also leaves behind a close and loving extended family, including his sister, Erica Vance, a member of Glendale Seventh-day Adventist Church, and his niece and nephew, Olivia and Robert Vance.
The Arizona Conference family shares our love and deepest condolences to the Turner family and all those who mourn his loss.
We await the beautiful morning, when Jesus comes, and we shall meet again.
