September is here, and it’s a great time to help keep the Scituate Food Pantry shelves stocked!

September Top 10.. If you’re doing your grocery shopping, consider picking up an extra item or two for the Pantry.

There are several convenient places to drop off donations: the white donation bins behind the Pantry, Shaw’s, Scituate Pharmacy, Scituate Town Library, and all churches in town.

May God bless our students and teachers as they return to school. May He bless our students with clear minds, attentive hearts, and the ability to focus and learn. Help them to excel in their studies, grow in confidence, and face each new day with curiosity and joy.

Bless our educators with patience, wisdom, creativity, and strength as they guide and inspire their students. May they be a source of encouragement, kindness, and understanding. Keep all our students, teachers, and school communities safe throughout the year, and may God’s love and guidance be with them every step of the way. Amen.

Bible Strories and Bubbles!

Today, Thursday, August 27 th, from 4–6 p.m., the community is invited to our final Community Playground Series event of the summer.

Come join us as we enjoy snacks, stories and bubbles.

This event is suggested for little ones ages 2–6, with a caregiver. Older siblings are welcome as well.

This is a free event and open to the public. You do not need to be a parishioner of Christ Lutheran Church to attend.

In case of inclement weather, the event will be held inside.

Fun was had by all at our Community Playground Series! Tonight we enjoyed Pizza and Play. We were tucked away with friends at our beautiful playground bordering the woods. The weather was perfect and the company was even better.

On Thursday, August 20 th, from 4–6 p.m., the community is invited to our second annual Community Playground Series event!

There will be crafts and free play, snacks, and pizza for all.

This event is suggested for little ones ages 2–6, with a caregiver. Older siblings are welcome as well.

This is a free event and open to the public. You do not need to be a parishioner of Christ Lutheran Church to attend.
