A Memorial Day Prayer

On this sacred day, we pause with grateful hearts to remember the brave men and women who laid down their lives for the cause of freedom. Their courage, sacrifice, and devotion have secured the liberties we hold dear, and we pray that their memory will never be forgotten.

We lift up the families they left behind. Comfort them in their grief, surround them with Your love, and give them the strength to carry on.

A Prayer For Mother’s Day
"Lord God, we lift up all mothers to You. Grant them the strength to face the daily challenges with courage and the wisdom to guide their children towards a life of faith and service. Psalm 23 is an enduring favorite refuge for so many Christians for good reason. The flow and imagery connect to deep memories and longings of humanity even if we are generations distant from the lifestyle of shepherding. Rod and staff - protection and rescue - tangible power that saves. I get that, and I thank God for being that power in my life.
