First Baptist Church of Scituate We are a community of Christian believers who encourage others seeking a relationship with God and one another. We gather to worship each week on Sundays.

The local church is a gift of God. She was built in 1869 as a testimony to the faith of her past generations and future generations to come. She remains faithful to her intended mission and purpose to give sanctuary; to direct the worshipper to heavenly ponderings of an ever-present God. le building, this church of ours! Church suppers bring the family of God together for feasting, laughter, and love. Best of all this church of ours has room for you! We really do need each other. We love each other, support each other, pray for each other. Our respective burdens are lighter because we really do care about each other. Monthly, we celebrate with joy the divine feast of Holy Communion. We love our church and continually dedicate her to the love and care of our community and neighboring towns. Yes, down through the centuries this church of ours faithfully beckons to the weary, lonely, and burdened, “Come in and find hope, joy, and peace.”

OUR FIRST FAMILY COFFEE HOUSE is scheduled for Sunday, April 1st at 3:00 pm. Please tell your friends and family. Great food, music and fun for the entire family. Proceeds to benefit the Mission Projects of the Church. The Armstrong Brothers will be featured with their many talented local students.
