Very excited for Music Sunday!
We hope you will join our choir and Music Director, Danica Buckley, accompanied also by Carlos Sulbaran, Bass, and Ed Sorrentino, Percussion. We are also delighted to welcome guests in our choir from Choral Art Society of the South Shore.
This will be a joyful morning, with beautiful music, and readings on the theme, "Music Inspires All!"
Music:
Hymn/Anthem - "Edelweiss" - Everyone enjoys singing this, so for Music Sunday, it's a hymn, led by the choir. Another hymn/anthem is "The Rainbow Connection" - beautiful tune, beautiful words. All are welcome at the service, and to sing along - humans, Muppets, etc.
"Music Inspires All," Words and Music by Rollo Dilworth, (incorporating the Spiritual, "Over My Head, I Hear Music in the Air")
"I Sing Because I'm Happy," arranged by Kenneth Paden and adapted by Rollo Dilworth
"Thank You for the Music," Words and Music by Björn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson. (ABBA)
"Peace I Leave with You," by Amy Beach (Mrs. H.H.A. Beach)
And for some piano trio music, two sambas, "One Note Samba," and "So Nice" (Summer Samba), because everyone should start their Sunday with a little bossa nova!

The words will be heartwarming, the music will be joyous, and all will be inspiring and have you humming the rest of the day!

Come along and bring a friend, and join us for coffee hour!
See you for the downbeat at 10:30am.

Tomorrow, May 24: Following the Monks: Lessons in Mindfulness
Bring a flower to church! Flower Communion

Join us this Sunday as we welcome the start of the summer season with our Flower Communion! Bring a flower to church, and take another home as we share beauty and fellowship.

To deepen the connections of community and peace, we will “follow the monks” who travelled 2,300 miles across the USA in the cold winter months, bringing their message of peace and love to all who followed them. We will listen to a reading of the Venerable Bhikkhu Pannakara’s address at the Lincoln Memorial, read by members of the congregation.
The service promises to bring beauty, peace and mindfulness!
