In two weeks on September 26th & 27th, our parish will celebrate Legacy Sunday. This is a time to reflect on the faith, values, and love that we hope to pass on to future generations. One of the most important ways we care for our families is by planning for the future. Creating a will or estate plan allows us to provide for the people we love, make our wishes known, and be good stewards of all God has trusted to us. Over the next few weeks, we invite you to think prayerfully about your own legacy — how you care for those you love today and how the faith and values that have shaped your life can continue for generations to come.

All are welcome! Join us for a special Mass of Welcome for three sisters of the Servants of the Pierced Hearts of Jesus and Mary.

Bishop Simon Peter invited the Servants of the Pierced Hearts of Jesus and Mary to establish a presence in the diocese as part of his vision to strengthen evangelization and Catholic identity in the local Church.

The sisters will serve the diocese in a variety of roles:
Sister Alyssa Renée — Director of the Office of Evangelization
Sister Mary Rachel — Office of the Bishop
Sister Clara Maria — Office of Catholic Schools

Founded by Mother Adela Galindo in the Archdiocese of Miami in 1990, the Servants of the Pierced Hearts of Jesus and Mary are a religious family dedicated to evangelization and the formation of the human heart. Who is Maximilian Kolbe?
Saint Maximilian Kolbe (1894–1941) was a Polish Franciscan priest, martyr, and missionary, renowned for his heroic act of self-sacrifice during World War II.
His life and death are a powerful testament to the virtues of love, faith, and courage.
What is the Maximilian Kolbe Society?
The Catholic Foundation’s Maximilian Kolbe Society exists to build a community of Catholic lay men to grow in faith together and to support and empower the future priests of the Diocese of Houma-Thibodaux by providing spiritual, fraternal, and financial assistance to seminarians within the St. Joseph the Worker Seminarian House of Formation.
