Today is the Feast of St. Bartholomew!
Fun Fact: St. Bartholomew was one of Jesus' closest friends. Tradition holds that he served as a missionary after Jesus rose from the dead, traveling as far as India and Armenia to preach the Gospel.

Feast of Saint Bartholomew the Apostle: he is believed to have been the same as Nathanael, born in Cana of Galilee, and brought by Philip to Christ Jesus at the Jordan. Afterwards the Lord called him to follow him, and included him among the Twelve. After the Ascension of the Lord it is recorded that he preached the Gospel in India, and was there crowned with martyrdom.

As part of our Archdiocesan conference this September, we’re also hosting a special evening with Matt Maher, along with a wine social called ‘Unwind and Uncork.’ Even if you can’t attend the full conference, you can purchase a concert-only ticket.

The Outreach pantry shelves are always in need of replenishment. Please consider donating rice, dried beans and canned proteins (tuna, vienna sausages, Spam), toiletries and cases of bottled water.
SCHOOL SUPPLIES NEEDED - Help local children start the school year ready to learn! The CTK Outreach Pantry is collecting new school supplies for students in need. Donations of backpacks, notebooks, pencils, crayons, markers, folders, glue sticks, and other classroom essentials are greatly appreciated. Please bring your donations to church on Sunday or drop them off at the parish office during the week. Thank you for your generosity and support of our local families!

If you prefer, you can contribute a financial donation, and we will purchase the needed items. Please make sure your donation is marked Outreach Donation. We deeply appreciate your continued support.

The Feast of the Queenship of the Blessed Virgin Mary is this weekend! In ancient Israel, the king's mother was honored as the Queen Mother, and so we do the same with Mary today. Hail, Holy Queen!
